Add a song
Search for a track or paste a Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Tidal or Deezer link. Links are matched to tracks available on your office’s connected music service.

Vote in Slack
The now-playing post shows the song and who picked it. Vote up a good pick or down a track you've heard enough of.

Hear it together
Songs play on the office Sonos. Everyone can see what's next and whose turn is coming up.
Beyond one person's playlist
The office has more than one DJ.
A bad song doesn't need an argument.
Vote down a track in Slack. When it reaches the room's threshold, Hivequeue takes it off the speakers. Queued songs can be voted out before they play, too.
Your first pick gets a chance.
With fair queueing enabled, your first song moves ahead of other people's backlog. Hosts can also limit how many songs each person adds.
Give good taste some credit.
Every pick has a name next to it. See how the room voted, revisit the day's songs, and find out who made Top DJ.
Music between requests.
With Spotify selected and Selecta enabled, it picks tracks when the queue runs out. Add a song whenever you're ready to take over again.

Working from home? Hear what the office is playing.
Open Tune in from a now-playing post in Slack or from the Hive, connect Spotify, and choose your device. It follows the office's Spotify tracks while you add songs and vote with everyone else.
Requires Hivequeue Premium and a Spotify Premium account for each listener. Other music services aren't supported by Tune in yet.
What you need
One person sets up the office.
- Sonos speakers with the office's music service connected.
- A computer that stays on on the same network as your Sonos. Install the Hivequeue app there and keep it running while music plays.
- A browser or Slack for everyone else. Share the Hive link so the team can join.
Before you set it up
- Does everyone need to install an app?
- No. One person installs the Hivequeue app on the office computer. Everyone else joins from a browser or Slack and signs in with Slack or Google.
- Do we need Slack?
- No. You can add songs and vote in the web app. Connecting Slack puts the now-playing posts and voting in the channel your team already uses.
- Can we keep the volume down?
- Yes. Hosts can set a volume ceiling. Quiet hours silence game sound effects and music-related Slack posts; they do not stop the music.
- Can people working from home listen too?
- Yes, with Tune in on Hivequeue Premium. Each listener needs their own Spotify Premium account and a compatible playback device. Tune in follows Spotify tracks; other music services aren't supported for remote listening yet.
